This Privacy Policy applies to Rockstar Coders.com and all other Rockstar Coders websites, apps, and any other products and services (collectively the “Services”) we provide.

1.1. Data Controllers
Our Privacy Policy applies to any Client, prospective client, blog reader or visitor to our site. We collect information when you use our Services to offer you a personalized and relevant experience.

The personal information provided to or collected by our Services is controlled by Rockstar Coders, 125 S. Clark, 17th Floor, Chicago, IL, 60603.

If you have any concern about providing information to us or how that information is used in any manner permitted in this Privacy Policy, you should not visit our websites, apps or otherwise use our Services. You can request removal of your information by sending an email to [email protected].

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

1.2. Using the Rockstar Coders Sites and Applications
We collect information when you visit our site and interact with advertising on and off our site.

We collect information when you use our websites, applications, or other Services. We log information about devices used to access our Services, including anonymized IP addresses.

1.3. Cookies
In order to improve our services and the website, and provide more convenient, relevant experiences to you, we and our vendors may use “cookies”, “web beacons”, and similar devices to track your activities.

1.4. Do Not Track
When you visit a website (such as our site), your browser automatically shares certain information, such as your IP address and other device information. Today, many browsers offer Do Not Track plugins that allow you to express a preference that you not be tracked, and that tell websites that you visit, by sending an electronic beacon, this preference. At this time, our site does not respond to Do Not Track beacons sent by browser plugins (but see 2.5. below, which covers tracking our tracking via Google Analytics).

1.5. Client services
When you enter into an agreement with us we collect information (including your name and email address).

To obtain services from Rockstar Coders, you must provide us with minimally with your name, email address, and billing information. You may provide additional data and information during our discussions to help us provide you customized services. In regards to your own customer data you should only provide us what we need access to in order to provide services to you.

When our agreement ends, you can request immediate deletion of your data on the agreement end date by emailing [email protected].

1.6. Prospective clients
If you submit a request for more information or contact, we store the details you submit to us (name, email, company, etc) and we may obtain legally-compliant lists of potential business customers for our Services for our marketing purposes.

1.7. Social Media
Our Website allows you to interact with us on various third party social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn. When you choose to interact with us via social media platforms, we may automatically collect additional Personal Information from you. These may include your profile pictures, education, work history, events, relationship status, likes, gender, location, URL, biography, any additional image or information. We may also collect your communications with us through the third party social media platforms.

1.8. Collection of Data from Children
This site is directed towards individuals working on behalf of businesses, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. To respect the privacy of children and to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, children under the age of 13 should not use this site. We ask that parents supervise their children while online.

1.9. Other
We are constantly innovating to improve our Services, which means we may create new ways to collect information on the Services.

Our Services are a dynamic, innovative environment, which means we are always seeking to improve the Services we offer you and this policy is subject to change with notice to you.

2. How we use your personal information:

2.1. To respond to enquiries, to provide the Websites and Services, to provide advice and support, and to invoice accordingly for legitimate interests or
according to signed contracts.

2.2. 2.3. To communicate with you to provide services or potential services and/or information we deem relevant or conceivably useful to you such as newsletters containing blog posts and other such information.

2.5. In certain circumstances as necessary, to share it with a limited number of third parties as described in this policy, for example for operational requirements and business continuity purposes.

We use third party services to run the website and store prospect and client data.

We protect your personal information and will only provide it to third parties: (1) where it is necessary to carry out your instructions; (2) as reasonably necessary in order to provide our services to you; (3) when we reasonably believe it is required by law, subpoena or other legal process; or (4) as necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rockstar Coders, our Clients, Resources, Visitors, and the public.

Google analytics:
We use pseudonymous identifiers (hashed emails, user IDs) to send data to Google Analytics and we have turned on IP anonymization to avoid sharing personal data with Google.

2.6. Polls and Surveys
We may conduct our own surveys and polls. Your participation in surveys or polls is up to you.

Rockstar Coders is a US based company. We may process your information outside the country where you live.

3.1. Rights to Access, Correct, or Delete Your Information
You have a right to access, modify, correct, or delete your personal information controlled by Rockstar Coders by notifying us as listed below.

3.2. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide you services and for a limited period beyond our last contact in case you should need additional services.

We may retain personal information, for a limited period of time, if requested by law enforcement or if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce this agreement.

If you have elected to receive communications or services from us, we retain information about your preferences until you opt out of receiving these communications and in accordance with our policies.

4. Important Information

4.1. Minimum Age
As described in Section 1.8. of the User Agreement, persons must be of Minimum Age to use Rockstar Coders.

4.2. Links to Other Web Sites
This Site may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Rockstar Coders (“Third Party Sites”). The information that you share with Third Party Sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the Third Party Sites and not by this Privacy Policy. By providing these links we do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their privacy practices and policies.

4.3. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If you agree to the changes, simply continue to use our Services. If you object to any of the changes to our terms and you no longer wish to use our Services, you may cancel your contract or stop visiting our site. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account. Using our Services after a notice of changes has been communicated to you or published on our Services shall constitute consent to the changed terms or practices.

4.4. Security
We take privacy and security seriously. Also, please know that the Internet is not a secure environment, so be careful and select strong passwords.

To protect any data you store on our servers, we regularly monitor our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
